Recent Incidents
The Boone County Sheriff's Office has released details of a recent crash involving Nova Kinkade, 25, of Boone, Iowa. Kinkade was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI) after a trooper with the Iowa State Patrol attempted to stop her 2009 vehicle around 4:30 pm.
In a separate incident, Gary Bugger, 64, of Boone, was involved in a crash involving his 2017 Dodge RAM pickup. The Iowa State Patrol reported the incident, which occurred on US Highway 30.
Sadly, a Boone radio host was killed in a motorcycle accident in Story County on Thursday night. The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the crash.
