Joey Bart and Jason Vosler drew consecutive walks off White Sox starter Mike Clevinger to bring Mike Yastrzemski to the plate. Yastrzemski then singled to right, scoring Bart and moving Vosler to third.
With two on and one out, Clevinger threw a wild pitch to Brandon Crawford, which allowed Vosler to score the tying run.
One batter later, LaMonte Wade Jr. grounded into a fielder's choice for the second out, but Yastrzemski beat the throw home to give the Giants their first lead of the game.
